²⁵ Jehu said to Bidkar, his chariot officer, “Pick him up and throw him on the field that belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite. Remember how you and I were riding together in chariots behind Ahab his father when the Lord spoke this prophecy^(A) against him:

¹⁴ Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.

²² For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.^(A)

The Burial of Jesus^(A)

⁴² It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath).^(B) So as evening approached,
